Ruben -
If you are still considering an angle to approach a congressional representative with regarding SCO, consider the possibility that the Federal Government could formally take ownership of the Unix copyrights.
I read somewhere that during the second World War the government took control of patents for certain elements of aircraft design so that all of the manufacturers could use them. Our national defense depended on building aircraft unencumbered by such petty issues.
If the feds could be convinced that the original Unix design is something that needs to be available to any operating system developer as a matter of national economic policy, they could assume ownership and nullify any future claims of infringement.
Just a thought.
