As a web design group, what is the WWWAC's position on Free Software? Are they familiar with it, and do they have an interest in incorporating it into their work? I guess I'm wondering what angle you want to approach the group with. A lot of web design people prefer using expensive proprietary tools that generate tags automatically and manage projects for them. As a specialty, it isn't necessarily full of people who are really familiar with underlying technology.
Maybe the current economic situation motivates them to work smarter.
