Subject: [wwwac] MySQL AB is looking for New York hires
MySQL AB told me that they're looking to set up a New York operation, and need to stock it with some qualified people.
Job requirements:
MySQL AB is recruting full-time software support engineers. Successful applicants must have:
* Excellent knowledge of the MySQL server and utilities. * Experience managing MySQL in production settings. * Desire to serve customers and solve their problems. * English language ability, both spoken and written. * Ability to work from home in a virtual company. Ability to pass all levels of MySQL Certification is a must. Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix, PHP, C/C++, Perl and other computing experience very desirable.
Competitive salary and benefits offered relative to nation of residence. Candidates from any nation may apply.
I'm further told that while the office is being set up in NY, said software support engineers may do some travelling to areas on the east coast.
Give me your information if interested and I'll pass it along. Feel free to forward this to other people as well, including lists.
