The Fre Software Institute is holding a 2 week intennsive GNU/Linux education program from Monday May 5th to May 15th, 2003.
This program will be from 10 AM to 6PM, Monday through Thursday. The program is all hands on.
It is actually 4 classes, GNU/Linux 1, Unix 1, Programming Intro with Perl, Jump Start Linux Program - Daytime Studies 4 classes $1000 Take all of NYLXS's most popular classes packed into two short weeks. This is a wonderful opportunity for advanced Windows users to become familliar with the fundamentals of Free Software. This is your opportunity to jumpstart your freesoftware knowledge. Get the knowledge you need to free yourself from the confines of restrictive proprietary software. Having all the classes taught simultaneously with all the instructors present through out the program will provide a level of cross pollination which has not been possible previously.
* Gnu/Linux 1 (manual system installation, kernel complilation) * Unix 1 (command line interface, the Unix way) * Fundamentals of Programming Using Free Software(Perl 1) * Basic Database Progamming, Object Oriented Techniques and Elements of the Apache Interface(Perl 2)
