Actually, they already exist. I've seen them.
You speak into a tiny microphone and your words get recorded on a tiny magnetic tape. Then your secretary listens to the tape and types your words onto paper. They've been around for at least forty years!
I've got IBM ViaVoice for Linux on my machine but it's a pain in the ass to train. It took me forever to set it up, and now I just don't care anymore.
By the way, that was a great article about Joe. Michael will distribute it after he submits this query to the media database:
