Hello fellow NYLXSer, this is t inform the people who
are interested in the education committee that there
would be a meeting after the committees elections on
Monday 07th at KR. This meeting is to prepare for our
meeting on the 29th with Mr Mark Gura the Director of
instructional support at the new board of ed building
in Manhatten.
As posted before,i was informed by mark that the price
angle that we trying to promote is not the way we
should go because the board of ed is already trapped
in a 5 year contract with micro$oft and they have
about 3 more to go.
at the meeting we are going to discuss
1. The suggested angle that would propose to the new
B.O.E. to get us notice. 15 - 30 min
2. what has to get done in order to complete the
proposal for the 29th 30 - 45 min
3. develop a time line for proposal 15 - 25 min
4. List what we need in order to do what we proposed
(will be explained at the meeting) 15 - 30 min
I hope to see people who like to change the face of
education, and like to create new things that would
free our youths minds.
