Okay, now I'm convinced that Jay is insane.
Ruben, didn't you say that (as you predicted) Brett turned over ownership of NYFairUse to NYLXS? If so, that means they can't host the site anymore. I hope the Board has this in writing. Even operating under a different name, NYFairUse should not be discarded.
I guess Jay is playing fast and loose with the names. "New Yorkers for Fair Use" is technically different, if an obvious violation of the spirit of the agreement. For what it's worth, the accomplishments he trumpets seem pretty insubstantial -- 6000 e-mail messages in support of his cause? What does that accomplish?
Here's hoping that Michael is up to the challenge of being hard-nosed in the face of babbling clowns.
