I just wanted to wish NYFairUse and all the "Fair Users" it counts among its
membership a hearty, if belated, Happy Birthday.
NY Fair Use celebrated its first birthday yesterday, having originally first
announced intent to form this advocacy group (and use the domain Ruben had
previously registered) at an impromptu meeting on July 24th, 2001.
What has been accomplished since then is nothing shy of amazing, expecially
given the fractional percentage of NY open sourcers actively involved with
the group.
What we have left to accomplish is staggering.
