Thank you, Dr. Stallman, for putting it succinctly. I wasn't planning on adding to Mr. Klein's statement, simply because he repeated exactly what I stated.
There seems to be a mental block regarding the larger issue of the conference itself. Many people just prefer the popular issue of opposing Microsoft, and can't seem to wrap their heads around anything else. Having followed the reactions on various sites and lists, I accept this and don't think much more can be said.
Everyone who wants to go in and hope for a turn tilting with Mr. Matusow are welcome to do so. I wish to protest the event on the grounds that it usurps the FS/OSS movements and misrepresents its content.
