Factually speaking, I'm not talking about Free Software developers.
Think broader.
I've got a 1/2 dozen sys admins, and users out of work who only work with Free Software.
This is an area you need to study more. And frankly, part time volunteers is not good enough. An economy based on Free Software needs full time employees building client applications and verticle markets for profit.
The situation is VERY desperate in the current recession and it's threatening the foundation for Free Software adoption.
