SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] NY Fair Use/NYLXS Dispute
|
Well
Now, faced with mounting evidence agains the coup of NYFairUse and the Cybersquating of NYLXS.org, we are reaching a desperite pitch.
NY Fair Use does not run down every problem or respond to very call by every organization, including the EFf and the FSF. NY Fair Use has always considered this playing 'whack the mole' and focuses instead on efforts to move the electorate towards practicle political change.
In other words, we attack the root.
But the claim of working against this FSF on any issue, or even your little band of cybersquaters is boarding on delussional claims.
Jay - you should Punt and trade the NY Fair Use Brand for the NYLXS.org domain, your you will be left without both.
In any event, we had another meeting for NYLXS today, with 3 people, and we;ll have another tonight, likely with about 15 people, and classes and so on.
There will be an election in the coming month, as an act of real responsible government. Someone will be elected, and I may be happy about the groups choice, or not. But the process is my GIFT to the NYC Free Software Community and you will not be able to destroy it.
in any event, this wasn't what you were saying at our annual dinner, and, but if you feel this way, BY ALL MEANS, TAKE MY WORK DOWN from NYFAIRUSE.org and EXCLUDE ME from this URL

Not to mention primary creative force of Brooklyn On Line, which has been donate to Mr Wynkoop...
Thanks
Ruben I Saifr Founder of NYLXS, NY Fair Use, The Free Software Institute, the Free Software Chamber of Commerce, The New York City Free Software Schools Initiative, and the NYLXS Journal
in collaberation with many many others.
President of NY Fair Use and Lame Duck President of NYLXS

<to Ruben's campaign of vilification of the most effective organized group in New York City working for our right to private ownership of computers and our right to free private, tribal, business, and public use of the Net, Ruben has worked against every action of NYFU since September 2002, including, of course, the FSF's call for action against the W3C's mistaken patent policy. Please do not support a man who has done grave damage to the movement in New York, in addition to the good he did by founding NYLXS, which is now near dissolution as a direct result of Ruben's ridiculous claims to dictatorship.>> -- __________________________ Brooklyn Linux Solutions __________________________ DRM is THEFT - We are the STAKEHOLDERS http://fairuse.nylxs.com
