SUBJECT | Re: [hangout] Propose a resolution/board meeting on Monday

That's a question we've never approached.
I'd have to look at the charter. Generally, the President has called meetings. I think before we should agree to this in any event, it should take a board vote on the issue, especially if there is a large degree of decent in the board.
Hushing the other side is not the issue, IMO. I really don't want to give them a stage to scure the issues more, and they've been offered to present to the board when they were asked to.
I'd say an OPEN meeting, such as one at KR, is out of the question. At mot they can send 2 presentitives to present their case to the board.
I just got off the Phone with Joe Maffia, he's suggesting an alternative which I would agree with. He would allow them to present to the board in Private at R&M if they are willing to hold to binding arbitration on this matter.
In terms of giving them a stage for free, with no responsibity on their side I deeply oppose that. And I think so would the board. I'm not interested in a farkus with Brett packing a room full of strangers, and Jay jumping around like a chicken. It would have to be a closed, procedural meeting with a goal.
BTW, having them speak is not going to help bring a resoltion. You'd have to convince me that this would be the case. Remember, this is the same person who decided to have the conversation on speakerphone about the class with the class present in order dredge an internal matter of the classes to the students.
I'm not willing to give them a stage without assurances of retrieving the domain.
