I also want to say that I'm understnading of your being upset over me handling of this, and particularly that you've been put in the middle of it, but I want this settled before leaving office and many of us have tried this route with Jay and Brett previously, without results (for months).
Your in the minority on the board at this junction. Despite the fact that JoeV is right, and that there is an emotional component to this, it's a fool who lets his emotions sway over judgement.
Brett and Jay are wrong... and yes, that upsets me personally.
The core matters to this issue is that I specifically asked for no mirroring of the NYLXS site, no registration of the NYLXS.org site, for cooperation on NY Fair Use.
All these things were ignored.
Jay was making plans for NY Fair Use against my leadership, WHILE he was living in my home. So much for friendship. He was the one for immediate need for DSL access. I was ready to fix it correctly.
But Marco, I'll try not to recall the trouble and time it took you to get your DSL working and your vendor.....
Or the incident with you on the Cell Phone, face turning red and yelling at them that you don't care about the back and forth with verizon, you just wanted the DSL up.
One last note, as I said before, even the effort I asked for, which was help getting the DSL reconnected from Speakeasy, was not an excuse to later try to shoe hron me into a DSL connection with a company, which a few days later, failed to get the DSL up because of whether related event, to try to choose for me my local phone serivice provider when I got fustrated with Verizons negligence on this matter and changed to ATT&T, the harassment I recieved on the return from Washington with NY fair Use, the attempted coup of NY Fair Use by Brett and Jay, the cybersquatting on NYLXS.org, the forcing of people onto an 'alternate mailing list' for NYLXS or the continued refusal to meet with the board and explain their position in a proper environment for months.
Time is running out on this and the NYLXS.org domain is to be returned, and NY Fair Use will continue to be run in conjunction with NYLXS as it has for the past year. They can, if they wish, take my offer and trade the rights for the NY Fair Use brand, not that they have current rights to it, but simply I'm willing to give it up to settle this matter, in exchange for the assingment of NYLXS.org back to the organization.
There is no more monkey business on this. Jay's previous messages made clear that, as they were posted to hangout and fairuse, that they have no evidence other than personal attacks to back any of their claims, and if they want the use of NY Fair Use, I'm willing to trade it for the NYLXS.org domain.
One last point, and this is especially to you Marco. You have this illusion sometimes that I'm less flesh and blood than other people, but I'm not. This abuse of me personally and the organization in the general has been very hard on my and I'm in my rights to be upset about this after all this time, and it is not an unreasonable request to ask my friends to support me on this based on my record as an honest friend and giver for you over time. To accuse me of being less and transparent in this matter is hurtful when coming from a friend.
