I don't think we should necessarily move anything or take over Ruben's server connection, just cover our costs.
I agree this is something that needs to be discussed.
Ruben, with limited resources you can only do certain things. Concentrate on what we can do. This is not a "hobby horse" mentality. This is how real business functions. If there is anyone on board who knows about grant writing and such please step up and lets get what we can. Otherwise, we will have to do what we can.
How can NYLXS be spending $1500 per month? On what? This might be the first place to look.

To climb out of troubles, we need to develope the financial contribution of our membership through economic development.
We're not talking about a couple of hundred dollars of expenses per month.
We've burned close to $1500 a month in expenses and more, largley covered by me and Joe.
As a non-profit, we are going to start to need permanent staffing, grant writers, and fund raisers.
Everyone still has a hobby horse mentality about things.
