It appears that in exchange for a seat in Mr. Stanco's GWU Cyber Policy
group, Mr. Perens is willing to allow the Open Source movement to be a
attached to Mr. Stanco's personal ambitions.
I don't think that Bruce makes these decisions for mere personal
advantage. I expect that he is sincere in believing that the
compromises he makes are beneficial overall. We all have to make such
judgments. The point here is to see how far the conpromise has gone,
and that in the long run it isn't beneficial.
