I think the idea of an advocacy conference is a good idea, but I would do
it as an additional conference and not a replacement for the eGovOS
conference. There are numerous prople involved in the eGovOS conference
who probably couldn't be involved in organizing an advocacy conference,
which is probably why eGovOS won't do outright, straightforward advocacy.
If eGovOS stops recruiting speakers by giving the air of an
opportunity for activism, there would be room for this.
