You will need to further explain what "CEO of Brooklyn" means. Is that elected? appointed? something the newspapers dreamed up? or what?
Also, what is a "crackmonkey"? It seems important enough to you to capitalize, but has absolutely no meaning to me.
I will accept that he is an expert in "in your face" New York politics. But that kind of stuff doesn't export well outside New York.
