We're going to have to meet this the board on the Both Usage and agenda as soon as possible. We are investing a few hundred dollars in flyers for the FSCC and the FSI, and other things are to be included as well so consider this NOW while making plans, and don't forget about NY Fair Use and the Journal.

However, I don't think that justifies making a conscious decision to limit the scope of the effort. Therefore I suggest that we concentrate on maximizing our efforts during the timeframe of LinuxWorld and simply invite the rest of the world to join in. > > Some thoughts: > 1. I would like to declare Friday, Jan 24th as WRDII day. This date has been nominated by me due to the fact that it is the last day of the LW event. I believe we'd get more "bang for our buck" by promoting from the NYLXS booth upuntil the day of the event. On the day of the 24th, I (along with anyone who cares to join) will leave LW and make my way to the Court House where I (as well as others I hope) will file suit. Hopefully time will permit a return to LW to possibly report back on the progress made. > > 2. Leading up to the 24th, an effort should be made to solicit contact information of those that support the cause. I think it's up to us to decide how granular we get with the type of information collected. I'm just tossing it out for thought now. > > > Best, > Adam Kosmin > > > > > On Wed, Nov 20, 2002 at 09:00:30AM -0500, David Sugar wrote: > > > > > > Rather than trying to do such a thing in many places nationally, I would > > suggest doing such a thing in targetted small and specific geographies > > where local organization is sufficient to make it work with considerable > > impact.
