This is a very specific YAST question and the SuSe mail list people are good at handling yast question.
I have no idea what index this is, or where it is. I asume this is a KDE issue, as you describe it.
Run yast again and let it configure whatever it wants before exiting. If that doesn't work, try the SUSE email list and let us know what they say.
I generally ignor warning messages like this because I tend not to use yast for much after the initial install.
