Correct

Aside from giving space, and providing lectures, we make the material available on the website, provide accounts on the server, and we promote free software, meetings and events in the class.
That's when we run it. In fact, this is the benifit to NYLXS of the class. We get a chance to develop a collaberative community. Almost all of our membership has come from the classes, as well as most of our volunteers. In addition, we record parts of classes from time to time for material to use later, and we control the ciriculum.
This class wasn't run by NYLXS because it was moved to a seperate location, because administrative decisions were made without consultation of the organization or the committee chair, because the instructor has refused to put the material on the web server, or to assign it to us under a copyleft license, because we were prevented from promoting the organizations events and methods to the class.
We had no control of any facet of it whatsoever.
In fact, we were prevented from collecting the tutition But now that you memntion it, we should charge Mr Wynkoop for the promotional fee of our class.
As for the PS, I'm sensitve about the name not being hangout-at-nylxs.org because it's not the maintained list, nor is it being archived on the site, not to memtion that we don't have administrative control.
although, as you point out, keeping to hangout-at-nylxs.com is a good thing.
It defaults to www2 whenever I don't add the domain.
