SUBJECT | Re: [hangout] demo publicity
|
I sent an email request (or filled out a form) requesting that they list the CUNY demo on October 23rd on their New York Construction News, calendar of events section, located here:
http://www.fwdodge.com/dcp/NYCN/NYaug02/eventAug02.html
or to simply contact member through email/newsletter, or otherwise let members or viewers know about the demo.
The demo is perfect for small business, and construction companies. I know a few who are wanting to install Linux on some of their computers, and I know the financials behind this industry.
That's it. A request to list the demo on fwdodge, NY Construction News page. Nothing more.
otoh, McGraw Hill is a much larger publisher, and any small business type of reach they have should place links about demo on their web pages/notify their viewers/members.
I targeted several other real estate/construction/building owners' groups as well. Among many others. All part of the publicity for the CUNY Demo.
Vin.
