My last attempt at responding to this email crashed the mail client so I'll try again. Be thankful you're getting the condensed version.

Excerpt from another email concerning graphics:

Suggestion: Mirror Ruth's page on NYLXS, for demo. Or create another page. Whomever would do the actual mirroring should contact Ruth for permission. I've met her I believe, but I can't recall for sure. I don't have her contact info, I could find it, but I'm limping along with a two month old nasty headache (among other problems), and could use a hand.

Last I remember seeing, the new demo was mentioned at the bottom of the NYLXS index page. That's why I mentioned bottom. Ideally, the demo info (and a link to a demo page) should be visible on the index page without scrolling. So aim higher.

My original email response to above was about a thousand words just on this topic. I'm not going to rewrite it. So, 1. over 95% of web users are using IE/Windows 2. Our target audience for this demo uses IE/Windows/pdf. 3. Use html format as the first format for the demo flyer. Make a printable web page 4. Link to a pdf file 5. Link to a PS file. 6. Find a different audience and another time for purity stand.

Recreate an account on NYLXS for me. Also make me an email address of vin-at-nylxs.com or whatever. If nylxs.com is not possible and mrbrklyn.com is required, it is not needed, don't create the email. Email me the password, or email me to call you if you don't have my cell number. Don't post my number on hangout. Thank you.
Let me know the directory to dump an html file for the demo. If I am up to it, and no one else wants to do it, I'll make the demo page, and add a hyperlink to the index page. I'll also try and make a simple html flyer file, which can be modified later by anyone else.
Time is of the essence.
btw, I'm back online right now. 8o)

On new Business Network: It's a little convoluted right now to me. This probably has something to do with my headache. I'm promoting demo to tv/radio/business groups that either take non-profit info, or charge $ for access. I'll plug the Business Network thingie where appropriate, but I promoted the demo to over a half dozen small business groups in NYC last night, and we won't get a listing on calendar of events/access to membership via email announcement of event/etc. (which numbers in the tens of thousands for each of them btw) if I start promoting this. They won't even know what Free Software is.
I'm breaking my ass (as are others) to get this demo some exposure, and we start a new initiative at this most critical time? Let's get news of this demo plastered everywhere first, get the demo off the ground, and work off that publicity for now. Somebody has too much time on their hands.
