Wrong
In of itself it means that when you purchase a disk or any recorded, written work of human creation, that your pocession and private ownership of the information and media is strip from you in violation of the 4th Amendment of the Constitution.
In addition, any technical implimentation of DRM would restrict Free SOftware to being hobby horse at best and at worst, just make it's installation illegal since it's not DRM secure.
Look at the example of the DMCA and the DRM involved with that as it was applied to NYU Dental School with the vital books reader.
In that case (and this is the future boys and girls), students were forced to purchase all the Dental Textbooks in a DVD is DMCA protected DRM.
At the end of the semister, it turns itself OFF
When the Graduate, It turns itself OFF.
Backups incase of inevitable hardware failure is not allowed. And the disk is registered to ONE machine. And they forced you to buy more books than you need and immediated ended the used book trade for Dental Books in NYC.
