hey the short answer is buy a small usb optical mouse, optical can work
on a pants leg.
I don't have time to get in to a long answer right now, but AFAIK this
is a major point of contention btw the hardcore mac users, who have
alt+click command+clicked forever, and the unix guys who have always had
three buttons and can't concieve of a key and mouse event occuring
together to equal one event.
