This is good news. Dimitar and I are concerned, however, that we are booking more demos than we'll have space for in the presentation room. Dimitar has a better grasp on the numbers than I do, but basically we don't have the presentation room all day and even before adding the GIMP session back in we did not have enough time in the presentation room to do each subject justice..
What we're thinking now is that perhaps what we've been calling the "technical sessions" should be held as informal sessions in the atrium, running simultaneously, more along the lines of the demo floor at an exposition. Each presentation would be given cyclically to passers-by and can be tailored more to answer specific questions. My guess is that folks would get more out of this approach than from a frontal lecture.
By the way, regardless of what we do, the "booths" on the atrium floor are going to need large signs of some kind so that folks know what each booth is up to.
