I see nothing gained by going to these hearing.
I see no audience, I feel like we're suffering from a hyper reaction.
We should write the letters, make a Press release from FSF, and NY Fair Use, and await the preliminary report. And then if it's needed, we can go to DC.
The correct thing now is to keep the issue in the public and preasure your congressman.
Do not be detracted from our more pressing legistlative agenda. They have a greater ability to rattle governemnt agencies than we have to hop back and forth. If I had enough money to do that, I'd make in an election Campain issue in NYC (the nations media capital). In fact, that IS what we are trying to do.
