I believe Towns voted against the Patriot Act.
How does he feel about laws which make Minority kids felones just because they mix some DRMed, DMCA protected music together into a rap/DJ mix. It's not like none of the rappers have yet been threatened and censored by vigorous copyright inforcement before.
This is such a black and white, pro minority issue. If your a mionority, you have to be an idiot to want the RIAA and MPAA to control all the music files on your computer.
Why is there such a large digital divide anyway?
Can you spell MICROSOFT
What's the way out of the digital divide
FREE SOFTWARE
There is no chance of closing the digital digide and empowering minorities with current copyright legistlation and the disembowlment of property rights to mix and reuse copyrighted material in the home on the computer.
If Towns is conceerned about the issue of the Digital Divide, he better get with it and release that the problem becomes not costs, but Freedom was systems become less and less expensive and more and more controlled by "The Man" instead of the owner.
