I would like to schedule several installfests for September and October,
so that we can make magazine deadlines. I am trying today to confirm a
location in Woodside Queens for the two dates, as fallbacks in case ASHA
or other NYLXS space is not available on the dates. The Installfests
will be advertised as "Installfest, NYC, www.nylxs.com for details and
location" or something to that effect. This will allow us to change the
location after the publication date if necessary.
I believe that Sunday will be a little difficult for the Woodside Queens
location, but I am trying to find that out now. Also, I will be moving
my office some time in the near future. The new location will be
warehouse type space, but will hopefully be big enough to host
installfests. It will probably be located near public transportation. I
am just starting to contact my real estate contacts on this now.
If Sunday is not available, what would be a good day of week/time for the
installfests if located in Woodside Queens as a fallback location? If my
new office location is available by September, this is not an issue, but
we can't rely on this now.
