I attended the DeLUGE event that included a MyBooks accounting software demo
by Appgen. I was lucky enough to receive a copy of the MyBooks base
accounting package. I will be putting it to use for my business, and will be
reporting on how well it performs to the membership. Michael attended the
event as well, and we spoke with Errol and Mark from Appgen after the event.
They would be interested in putting on a demo for our group as well, possibly
at one of our next events. I already sent an email to them explaining about
NYLXS, and suggested they get on at least the announcements mailing list, and
possibly hangout as well, although I stated that I would inform them of any
events that haven't hit the announce list yet. I also gave them the web site
address, and the radio show info as well.
In addition to the Mybooks accounting package I received, I also received a
few demo versions that work for 30 days, after which you must purchase it to
get it to continue working. For anyone interested in the demo version of the
disks, I'll make it available at the next event, or the next class I attend,
or if I see you, whichever comes first (my guess would be the next NYLXS
meeting).
