We have been approached as an NGO to provide schools with ISP / Email services using Open Source Software / Linux. Does anyone have advice on how to start up an independent ISP including hardware, software needed and other technical requirements, i.e. what turnkey strategies and solutions can anyone offer for setting up an ISP not for gain. What are the Dollar / Pound equivalent costs?
