I've been happy with Dell servers in the past. So it seemed reasonable that I'd get some desktops from them when its time.
Alas, they don't support Linux on their desktops.
> From whom can I buy desktops? I don't care if they come with Linux installed, but I do want to be sure that (1) the hardware works under Linux, and (2) I won't hear from some support monkey that I need to install MSFT on the box before they can determine that a floppy drive needs to be replaced.
I'd also like a company that provides some level of hardware support (which is one of the things I like about Dell).
Suggestions?
Thanks...
Andrew
