SUBJECT | Re: [hangout] Problem with mouse and gui

I have also experienced the mouse jumping problem with my KVM switch. The mouse works great until I switch the KVM switch and then sometimes it continues to work and other times it completely freaks out. I end up using SSH from Windoze to restart the linux box so that the mouse will work again.
Also, my cursor doesn't just jump all over the screen, it also spuriously opens menus and basically "clicks" all over the place.
I never had a problem before using the KVM switch.
As a final note, the mouse has never exhibited such bizarre behavior on my Windows 2000 machine which is connected to the same KVM switch.
Of course,if somebody has a fix for this it would be greatly appreciated, because I hate using Windows 2000 as a "restart" for my Linux box. It just doesn't feel right. :(
