my experience with sitting through 20 minute demos of evolution and
star/open office is that 20 minutes is too long.
the features of open office are:
it's a word processor -
open program, load template, load sample file, load ms-format file
write file to different format
it's a spreadsheet
ditto
it's a presentation manager
ditto
and look how flexible:
take a quick walk through the options and configuration screens
show them the address book
show them the drawing module
on to the next =
if you like, you can sync your pilot to any of these programs
next
if you don't like that office program, then we have several others
exit gnome - start kde
this is kde, which is another window-manager - you just pick the one you
like. all of the applications will run under any of them
here is the kde office suite, which is called k-office.
