Actually, I've been pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of backgrounds. We've had people with no Linux experience at all and people who've already been using it for a year or more, but wanted to learn more and be more productive with it. It's no surprise most people who take the program have some experience with windows and mac os's, we've had some windows system admins, and many casual users as well.
