Vincenzo, FYI, have you seen http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/nylinux/images/nyls.png It looks almost decent but is not a standard even for nylxs.com (which uses besides the above: http://www.nylxs.com/images/logo1.png
but I belive that really the banner sent up should have more content and be more intresting. aka: an add for the inservice. Why click it otherwise? (we do have to think about the audience... who reads lwn? most newbies? ms users? probably not) Though "Free, learn about .... in New York this week" might be more compelling.
