What about outgoing connections? Any ports blocked on the outbound site?

Ruben,
We have the monitors. The only issue unresolved is the static IP address. Their firewall does not allow incoming connections. Is it important for the VPN demo?
thanks, Dimitar

Ruben,
Below are the answers I have received from CUNY on our final requests. Jin Mao is the technician that will be helping us on Friday.
The two open requests are the IP address and the monitors. Jin Mao has already contacted me and told me that he is working on that. I hope by lunch time we will know the answers for sure. I will keep you posted.
thanks,
Dimitar
1) You mentioned at the beginning that CUNY could provide us with 6 big monitors. One for each presenter. Can we still count on that offer? -- Jin Mao will follow up with this and get back to you.
2) Where do we off load and bring in the equipment on Friday morning? NYLXS will come with a van and bring all the computers and peripherals necessary for the demonstration. We need to know where can we park the van and what is the procedure to enter the building with the equipment. -- The loading dock address for GC is 16 E. 35th Street. It's on the side of the building. I'm not sure if you can park the van there, but you can definitely upload your computers and stuff there. I have emailed the security department of the building, your demo is on the schedule of events calendar at GC.
3) What is the earliest time the people could come at CUNY? -- You can come as early as 8:30 -9:00Am.
4) Will there be a technician to set up the Internet connection for the demo? -- Jin Mao will be here at 8:30 on Friday to help you set up.
5) This is very important for the VPN demo. can we get static IP address? -- Jin Mao will follow up with this and get back to you.
