Hi, everybody. I've been working on working out our next schedule of
classes. Tomorrow I will bring out the official announcement.
Perl 2 Classes will be held on Tuesdays starting March 26th near Madison
Sqaure Garden.
Perl 1 Classes will continue to be held on Thursdays at Tgix on 19th
W44nd St. pending confirmtion tomorrow. We originally propsed to the
list a start date of March 14th, but I'm proposing March 21st to give us
time to get the word out.
We'll also be starting another round of Linux 1 classes (wed's) and
kicking off our Unix 1 class.
Like I said, the official announcement comes out tomorrow, there are a
few things that need to be finalized first. But I wanted to get this
out there to the group. If you have any questions or comments, please
let me know.
We had proposed flyer hand-out days in front of the NY Public Library on
Tuesday and Wednesday at Lunch time as a way to get the word out and
meet new people. This is an experiment, and can be a good one. We do
need people to make this work! If you can make it please let me know.
I'd like to extend it to Thursday as well so I can have the chance to be
there myself (can't on Tue or Wed). I'll make the appropriate flyers.
I'd love for some people to give this a try and get the word out in
every way they can about the classes once we send out the official
release.
