I did the exact same thing, and mine got hit by lightning, too..
Strangely, only the ports and NICs directly involved were affected,
the computers and the rest of the hub ports survived.
Anyway, it was very cool to finally get to see (well, hear, really) lightning
hitting my computer equipment..
