SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] Friday 22 February 2002: J. T. S. Moore's Documentary about GNU/Linux

Revolution OS is a work of history which is not only delightful to view, it is also useful to the Cause. I commend this movie to all partisans and to all who have asked "What is Free Software, and why should I switch my entire computer and communications infrastructure to Free Software?".
Below is the official notice from J. T. S. Moore, author of Revolution OS.

Jay,
I thought the members of LXNY would be interested in knowing that REVOLUTION OS, a documentary film about the creation of GNU & Linux, opens this Friday, February 22, at the Cinema Village in Manhattan. The theater has scheduled a 6:05 PM showing each day.
For more information about REVOLUTION OS, you can checkout the official website:

I hope the members of LXNY get a chance to see the film.
Sincerely,
J.T.S. Moore
