The NY Times is beginning to market it's electronic version.
We had some inside infomration on this development and it is
possible that in the near future that the Times Web site,
as we currently know it, can disapear.
I think it is time for us to open up a dialog with the Times.
Clearly we want to see the Times develope a profitable model for
their products. But just as clearly, the new electronic format
is troblesom and bad news.
The worst part is that the read/device/software will hold onto
the electric addition which you BUY for $65 an issue for only
21 day.
We should have a protest at the Times Building and begin raising
the issue now....
