Just wanted to let everyone know that my friend Reuven Lerner just finished
his book and it is now available....
My book ("Core Perl") is finally out, after far too much time in the
writing and editing stages.
The Web site is at , which has links to all
of the major on-line bookstores. (My favorite, bookpool.com, doesn't
seem to have it listed yet.)
The book describes most of Perl's features, including built-in and
complex data structures, subroutines, modules, objects, regular
expressions, network programming databases, CGI, and mod_perl.
There's lots of sample code, and I've already gotten positive
reactions from people who reviewed it.
