SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] Expo Booths signup for NYLXS/LXNY/NYLUG
|
Greetings All!
I'd like to briefly announce the locations of the Expo signup app for the booths of your choice:
NYLXS: http://nylxs.unilug.org LXNY: http://lxny.unilug.org NYLUG: http://nylug.unilug.org
The app won't show your time scheduled until after I mark your submission "final", which is just to avoid having too much coverage at the same time. Every volunteer will get a note back (manually) confirming their time slot(s).
Depending on whether or not the bug I introduced gets fixed before you go there, you'll see an option to sign up for a mailing list regarding the booth. This is just so we can e-mail the volunteers easily regarding booth activities. If you have anything to tell your fellow volunteers, you can post that to the list as well. If there's any unexpected perqs for volunteers, these will be announced via the list. The subscriber list is not public, and the mailing lists will be destroyed at the end of the Expo.
If you want to join the mailing list(s), send a blank e-mail to: (NYLXS) nylxsbooth-subscribe-at-unilug.org (LXNY) lxnybooth-subscribe-at-unilug.org (NYLUG) nylugbooth-subscribe-at-unilug.org
You'll get back a confirmation e-mail you need to reply to before your address will be added to the list.
_*BIG*_ thanks to Jon Britton, who not only wrote the script, he beat one of my servers into submission to make this all possible. Jon now knows the depths of my incompetence, and yet he still rolled up his sleeves to run down all the problems.
Ron
