SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] New blurb for Linux 1
|
Hey all,
After tonight's meeting I wrote up two short blurbs perhaps for the Linux Expo brochure. I feel we have to raise the volume a bit when we are communicationg with people who aren't yet part of the group.
Comments of course are called for...
Marco

This is it. This is your chance to get a firm grasp of the Linux Operating system. What's the rage about? What makes it different? If you can't: --Manually setup your partitions and tailor your installation. --Setup users and groups, with full control over different levels of access and permissions. --Setup networking, gateways, routing, DNS --tinker with system services to know exactly what's running on your machine. This is the class for you. This is the foundation for your free software future. At $200 you've never had such a deal, or a better excuse to jump on the train to freedom.
