This is really funny to read on a Linux mailing list.
I want to also be really honest. It's not often popular but it is not often that anyone can say anything good about a microsoft product, and access fits the normal MS standards of building complete junk.
I've seen completely incompetent Oracle people use Access and an ODBC driver which sucks up mountains of unneeded data and drag the LAN into the pit all the while causing the Windows OS to crash. But screw it. Why should that stop an Oracle 'OEM' DBA from using Access to do amazing work which would be easier, faster, and simpler from PSQL.
Honestly, Access is complete and utter junk. It's not even as good as Foxpro. But it's good for making people brain dead, and a slave to Windows, and tunring computers into jelly.
