There is a great deal of room for introducing the rigors of structured
education to power users, and while it is unrealistic to expect a
Comp Sci degree, many areas of formalized understanding would be good
for a lot of linux power users, even more so today with so many drag and
drop
fellows around.
For example, the basic THEORY of networking layers is an ideal subject for
a obne day lecture, or in-service.

We are definitely looking at moderate fees for the propose of covering
expenses
and float the group as a whole. I'm not looking for a fee schedule such

would be prohbitive for a kid with a paper route.

I hope to get the announcements/events section on the website done next,
and then the education section. My vision is that the site itself becomes
