The firewall doesn't block port 22 out.
I could set up a box myself too, but
a) Tech is very disorganized
b) I do not think the rooms are even networked properly.
Accessing computers in the current room is fine, but other rooms is a pain.
c) I don't think Tech really cares about this ... I went to a meeting of
the Tech Committee and it's a lot of people with a lot of things to say,
but no action.

(yep. aol.com. our school doesn't even have direct control of bths.edu
it's under the control of some alumni, and if we ever have to update the
site, we have to bother him)
Maybe you'll have better luck.
